Want to join the lab?
We are always looking for motivated, enthusiastic and bright individuals to join our group. Please carefully review our website (especially sections on Projects, People and Publications) to gain a better sense of our interests and active efforts. From these, please make a proposition of a project to Prof. Nil Basu ([email protected]); one that not only matches our lab's interests but is in line with your skills, educational level, and aspirations. Also, please make sure you send your CV/resume and a copy of your transcripts (unofficial is OK; need to see courses and grades).

Usually we accept 1-2 new students each year. Key in our decision will be fit (do our interests align?) and funding (how do we compensate you and pay for your research?). Prof. Basu is jointly-appointed in the Department of Natural Resource Sciences as well as the School of Human Nutrition and so students can join our McGill lab via either unit. Prof. Basu is also an Associate Member in McGill's Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health, and thus students can also be recruited from this Unit. Also, explore funding opportunities via McGill's Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies office.
